CUDDALORE:
The fact-finding committee comprising human rights activists has demanded a CBI inquiry into the affairs of the Neyveli Lignite Corporation.
It has alleged administrative lapses and using transfer as a tool for victimisation of employees, including executives, under the stewardship of Chairman-cum-Managing Director A.R. Ansari.
The committee members made this observation at a press conference held here on Thursday. They included P. Rathinam, senior advocate from Madurai, Prabha. Kalyani of the Makkal Kalvi Iyakkam from Tindivanam, A. Marx of the People’s Union for Human Rights (PUHR) from Chennai, M. Sivagurunathan of the PUHR from Thiruvarur and G.
